STUDENT

 

Attend school each day, be on time, have the necessary supplies and be prepared to actively participate in learning.

Do my best in my work and with my behavior.

Complete my homework, utilizing a homework routine and ask for help when needed.

Read everyday outside of school time.

Give my parents/guardians all notices and information given to me by the school

 

FAMILY

 

Communicate with school and teacher. Be involved in school. Support my child’s educations. Ensure my child attends school daily prepared and on time.

Support attendance and discipline policies.

Provide a place, time, and routine for homework.

Stay informed through reading emails and other available media.

Encourage learning at school, home, and in the community.

Ensure the quality and safety of technology use.

Monitor attendance and grades.

 

Teacher

 

Explain expectations, curriculum, and assessments ensuring that parents have a voice in their student’s academic decisions.

Provide and inform families of volunteer opportunities and encourage participation in their child’s education.

Communicate regarding student’s progress.

Provide a supportive and effective learning environment.

Remain competent and current in curriculum, instruction methods, and strategies.

Provide a high-quality lessons using TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills.)
